2-20-10

Consistency is the key...

I travel a lot. Normally my weekends are me traveling to Ohio or some other place to visit family and friends. I enjoy my trips especially when I can bring my dog Charley with me. During the week I have a schedule of going to the gym and heading to class. I have goals as far as grades and health that I try to achieve. What I have noticed is that I tend to get lax on those goals when I travel.

When I visit I eat what my friends and family eat. Normally we go out to some restaurant and eat unhealthy. I sleep in late and stay up late. When I return to Pittsburgh I'm kinda out of it.

To make a long story short, I'm going to cut back on my traveling. This quarter is important and I have projects I'm working on. I'm going to see what I can accomplish if I stick around and focus on things I'm prioritizing.

In class I am working on my portfolio. I hope to have it up and running in a few weeks. At the gym I'm looking to lose some body fat percentage and gain some mass. I'm ready to give it a good go.

I'm going to miss visiting friends and family. That's alright. Once I'm done with classes I should have some time to say hello to everyone.

2-18-10

Snow...

There is about 25 inches of snow outside. It all started almost two weeks ago. We got 20 inches one weekend and then another 10 inches the following Tuesday. My classes were canceled last week and I just sat in my apartment and did nothing. It's weird how that is. I had a number of things I could have gotten done but I just laid around and watched it snow. I did clean my apartment though. It really needed to be done. I plan on doing laundry tomorrow. That needs my attention.
