Dog Day of Summer...

What a day. My alarm didn't go off this morning. Thankfully my cat woke me up in time to get ready for work. I made it to work on time and I enjoyed my day playing with the internet. We have a lot of work coming our way. I am very thankful considering the economy keeps getting worse and we keep getting work.

After work Kevin(my roomate) and I had to take care of some sad business. We had to bury the neighbor's dog. Miss Mary is an elderly woman who lives next door. Her and her husband aren't in the best of shape so they couldn't take care of it. Kevin and I got some shovels and we dug a place to bury Rocky. After we buried him we said a prayer. Miss Mary was quite appreciative. I felt bad for her.

I almost forgot, when I got home from work I saw Kevin with a larger white dog and Charley. There was a bearded gentlemen on the porch also. He brought over his dog (Casey) and we're babysitting for now. What happened is the man is going through a horrible divorce and his wife had attempted to have Casey put to sleep just to hurt him. Who does that!!!! The guy left in tears. Casey is a good dog as long as she stays off my couch!

I went running today of course. I cramped up. I haven't had a cramp when I run in years. Most people would think that is bad. I loved it. I ran through the pain. I haven't ran this good in years and I feel great.

To end the evening, I went to the gym to take a shower. When I came back home there were police walking around the neighborhood. I have no idea what they were here for. They didn't bother me. But they left in due time.

Well, that
